Swimming pools are one of the most difficult environments where acoustic regulation needs to be performed. With sound waves hitting the hard tiled surfaces surrounding the pool; swimming, playing and yelling sounds can reach extreme levels. Swimming instructors may find teaching too difficult with poor swimming pool acoustics, or general sound system announcements and instructions may be misunderstood in an emergency. Therefore, an acoustic environment should be provided that allows people to have fun in a safe environment by considering the moisture factor.
