To improve the sound quality and create a noise-free dining area in the North Cafeteria building located in the TÜBİTAK Gebze Campus, ESK acoustic panels were applied to various surfaces.
The cafeteria ceiling was covered with our black acoustic felt panel, matching the color of the ceiling, in order to maintain visual integrity. This enhanced the sound quality of the space while providing a backdrop for the products that needed to be highlighted.
To create a colorful and dynamic atmosphere in the space, acoustic fabric and acoustic wood canopy panels were used.
In order to preserve the width of the space, instead of using walls for specialized areas, different products were integrated into the ceiling, allowing the space to be divided into various sections while maintaining its integrity and width. Acoustic felt honeycomb canopies were used in the ceilings of areas near the windows where two people could sit, while wooden honeycomb suspended ceilings were preferred in areas designed for larger groups. The ceilings of corridors and specialized rooms were colored with ESK linear wooden panels to maintain the dynamism of the space.
By enhancing the sound quality of the space, a noise-free and aesthetically pleasing environment was created where users could enjoy meals and engage in conversations.
